The patented RB 300 (Pat. No. DE 196 50 346) is a reference block for defining a zero point for sensing and marking. This requires required two double stand measuring machines to be matched with one another. In this case, the zero point is outside the model. The base body is made of aluminium, the reference surface is made of hardened stainless steel.
The RB 300 is fixed with two latching bolts and a magnet sunk into the base. The magnet is switched on and off with a lever on the base.
